Griffin Imaging has received the highest standard of excellence rating given by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The Technologists performing your scan are registered in their field and are committed to using the lowest amount of radiation necessary to obtain clear and accurate images.
Griffin Imaging now offers patients receiving a MRI the capability of watching TV or a movie during their scan time! This has helped numerous patients avoid anxiety, claustrophobia and reduced the need for sedation.

Dr. Ron Gay is the Medical Director of Griffin Imaging. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the A.B. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology as well as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Musculoskeletal MR with the American College of Radiology. Prior to accepting the Full Time Onsite position of Medical Director for Griffin Imaging in 2004, Dr. Gay served as Chief of Radiology at Spalding Regional Hospital for 13 years. He is also the Medical Advisor for the Radiologic Technology Advisory Committee at Griffin Technical College in Griffin, GA. Dr. Gay is heavily involved in the Griffin community, as well as a long standing active volunteer for The Salvation Army. Dr. Gay actively serves as both a Deacon and Teacher for Second Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia.
