Accredited by the American College of Radiology, ImageSouth Greystone opened in 1996 with the goal of bringing comprehensive, quality diagnostic imaging services to people in Shelby, Jefferson, and Talladega counties. ImageSouth Greystone is the cornerstone of the the ImageSouth network which not only offers high-field strength MRI, but also has a multi-slice CT scanner, an ultrasound unit, and two R/F systems.
Like so many areas of technology, diagnostic imaging technology has undergone dramatic advances in a very short period of time," said Dr. Robert Eichelberger, a Board-certified neuroradiologist and the medical director for Greystone Imaging Center (Hoover) and Montclair Road Imaging Center (Birmingham). "We're committed to offering the very latest technology possible to our patients and referring physicians, but we do it with a human touch. Our staff is genuinely interested in the patient. We take time to explain the tests and procedures we perform, and ensure each patient is as comfortable as possible."
"We're excited about what we offer the community," said Joe Paul, president of ImageSouth Greystone. "We've just adopted a slogan that sums up our image very well: 'Here for You.' Our goal is to provide a convenient access to these vital imaging services and technologies."
SERVICES:
As impressive as the technology is at ImageSouth Greystone, the fact that the facility has at least one full-time Board-certified radiologist on-site at all times, and often a Board-certified neuroradiologist, is something few outpatient imaging centers anywhere can match. Other distinguishing characteristics of this facility that support quality patient care include:
- Same-day scheduling
- Reports guaranteed within 24 hours
- Registered, licensed technologists
- Extended hours (including Saturdays)
- Fax scheduling upon request
- Convenient locations with free parking
