We provide information vital to the detection and management of a person’s well-being. Advanced imaging capabilities, combined with the expertise of our board certified radiologist, allows us the opportunity to give you the best hope in an accurate diagnosis and a clear path to treatment. Continual improvement in product quality, customer services, and physician support is important to us. We are glad to be a part of your community and believe that you will find your experience with us a comfortable one.
SERVICES:
Open MRI of Sylacauga features a remarkable new permanent magnet technology used in place of the common “tunnel type” closed magnet. A very large opening and movable, padded table can accommodate pediatric, elderly, and wheelchair patients with ease. The system produces only a slight knocking sound, which represents that the exam is proceeding as required. Your technologist will talk with you through a speaker while the images are being produced. An exam can last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of information requested by the physician. This MRI is open on four sides, minimizing anxiety and claustrophobia and even allows the patient to have a loved one at their side during the exam. We offer same day and work in appointments, early morning and late evening appointments, and fax and phone scheduling for convenience.
- MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI): Open
MRI, Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a method used by our physician and Registered MRI Technologists to look inside the human body to obtain diagnostic information. It can help provide a quick and more accurate diagnosis for your physician reducing the need for exploratory surgery and other diagnostic procedures that may have associated risk. It provides comfort for the patient while delivering the consistently high-quality images needed for comprehensive diagnosis.
